It Hurts: Opening tonight at Brooklynite Gallery

Last year I photographed several Remed pieces in Curitiba, Brazil.  We’ll be showing them all week leading up to It Hurts, his show with Zbiok opening TONIGHT, February 28, at Brooklynite Gallery.

Another collaborative piece, this time with Tom14. The right side was painted over by an election campaign, but the left side is still rockin’. Vamos Nessa!

It Hurts: Remed “Tudo o que você vê”

Last year I photographed several Remed pieces in Curitiba, Brazil.  We’ll be showing them all week leading up to It Hurts, his show with Zbiok opening tomorrow, February 28 – at Brooklynite Gallery.

Remed is now known for going big, but this was his first large-scale piece. It was done for a theater festival, and, as you can see, its about nine stories high. Muito legal.

Your heart is a weapon…

Pure Evil was just in São Paulo for a show at Choque Cultural called Dark Carnival (see photos here).  While there, he produced an excellent woodcut print with handset type at the Fidalga print shop. We really enjoyed the making of it:

And then check out some of the variations:
