By Any Means Necessary at Brooklynite Gallery

We checked out the workshop for the upcoming kids show at Brooklynite Gallery, By Any Means Necessary, and it looks great.  Kids were having a fun time and they were doing awesome work - we definitely dug the collaborations they set up for this.  They also just got Amy Sedaris to contribute to the show!  Swing by the opening this Saturday, May 16 from 11AM to 6PM. Show runs through May 30.

Specter bottle return cart

Specter just put up a nice hand drawn wheatpaste in Brooklyn — excellently placed and very well done. If you’ve been following the site you might recognize the style from this previous post of chinese water chestnuts that Specter did a few months back. We spotted several passer-bys stopping to enjoy it while we checked it out ourselves — its always nice to see something like this get noticed…
