Knox, who produces Lyfetime and is the maker of the mighty fine short documentary Open Air, releases another video - Conscious Cycle 451. From his description:
In February of 2007, Lou Auguste and Sinton Vignos rented out space in what used to be Stay Gold Gallery at 451 Grand in Brooklyn. The idea was to spread the idea of environmental consciousness through art. Together they went through local dumpsters and found wood and old paint cans.
Next we invited all the artists we knew in the New York area for a month long paint party and filmed the whole thing. Participating artists included: Gore B, Celso, Matt Siren, Infinity, Elbow Toe, Faro, Naks, Anthrax, Knox, Wrona, SuperK8, Royce, Anera, Sife and Ed.
Quick Bits: Bue gets some billboard action; Elbow Toe stencils for snow; Royce Bannon interview about the upcoming Work to Do show in NYC (brooklynstreetart.com); Jim Avignon is performing at Factory Fresh (Brooklyn, NY) in support of Anxiety Room, his show with Jon Burgerman, on Friday, March 13 (recommended); new issue of Salissures (pdf magazine) is online, featuring Paris trucks(!), bombing, stickers and everything else (ekosystem.org); and speaking of Paris and ekosystem, vitostreet posted a mess of Horfe pictures.
